Shipping Policy

(IMPORTANT - Please ensure you read this carefully BEFORE placing your order)


1. Shipment

For all orders received via our telephone ordering service before 1.30pm each working day (i.e. Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) it is our policy to ship the same day. If this is not possible for any reason we will try to contact you directly to explain why. Orders received via our telephone ordering service after 1.30pm but before 4.00pm we will endeavour to ship the same day, but you will not be contacted if this is not achieved unless you have requested the 'Next Day Inc Sat' option (see 3a below). In all other circumstances for orders received via our telephone ordering service we will endeavour to ship on the next working day.

For all orders received other than via our telephone ordering service we aim to ship within 3 working days (72 hours) of receipt of cleared funds. If we are unable to do so we will contact you directly.

We ship every working day. Please allow for seasonal variations for shipping, if you need goods for a specific date - please contact us to ensure that this is possible.


2. Packaging

Goods are shipped protected in bubble wrap and / or shredded paper and / or tissue paper - inside a sealed, sturdy cardboard shipping box or, for smaller or lighter items inside a post safe extra strong mailing bag - if you require any additional packaging or for any special shipping requirements please contact us directly.


3 P&P Services and Charges

Our P&P charges are based on the rates currently quoted by Royal Mail 'as at today's date', and are subject to change without notice to keep them in line with any changes made by Royal Mail at any time. We also reserve the right to vary our methods and / or means of shipping without notice, as circumstances dictate or at our own discretion, and with no impact to the charges we have made to the customer for these services.

3a - Customers in the UK –

There is no limit to the number of items that may be ordered, but please be aware that the shipping costs will be added per item. Orders for more than one item may be shipped individually or collectively entirely at our discretion. Customers wishing to order more than one item at a time are therefore invited to contact us directly to discuss their specific requirements.

Shipping services - Our Postage & Packing charges for parcels shipped to addresses in the UK will fall into one of the following three categories, but please note that P&P charges for 'Tailormade' items will be quoted at the point of accepting an order:

• Category 'A' - currently Hannah and Christine bags, and Jhumbo Doorstops at 12.99 per item
• Category 'B' - currently Julia; Louise; Millie and Tote style carpet bags; plus Travel Bags at 9.99 per item
• Category 'C' - currently Verity bags; plus all Jhasper label Accessories (i.e. Bag Organisers; Coin Purses etc.) at 5.99 per item

Items in Categories A and B will be shipped by * Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day service. This service usually guarantees delivery on the next working day from the day of shipment (i.e. not weekends or bank holidays - please ensure you have also read section 1 above) & also includes: -

• Delivery usually before 1pm
• Online parcel tracking facility
• Electronic proof of delivery
• Adequate Insurance in the event of loss or damage in transit.

In addition to this, customers requiring delivery on a Saturday have the option to upgrade to the Royal Mail 'Saturday Delivery' * service at an extra cost of 6.00 (Incl VAT) per item. Except where a Bank Holiday falls on a Friday (i.e. Good Friday) this option only needs consideration by customers placing an order which would usually be despatched by us on a Friday, and where they require delivery to be guaranteed for the Saturday morning. It is subject to all other conditions and to the Royal Mail's own limitations for this service.

Items in Category C will be shipped by Royal Mail 'First Class Signed For' * service for letters and parcels which includes compensation in the event of loss or damage up to a maximum of 50.00.

If you are unable to take delivery of the package - it will be returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office and held for 7 days. If you have not arranged re-delivery or collection after 7 days the package will be returned to us. If this happens we will request that you re-send us the postage costs in order that we may resend - otherwise this will be regarded as a returned item and the purchase price will be refunded minus shipping costs (where applicable) and the 're-stocking fee'.

Please also be aware that Royal Mail may suspend their 'Delivery Guarantees' at any time and at their own discretion, particularly in times of adverse weather conditions, and we cannot be held responsible in such circumstances. If you would like to track your parcel or make any claim to Royal Mail please contact us directly and we will be happy to provide the 'bar-code' or 'proof of postage' you require.


3b – Overseas Customers –

Please note that customers from outside mainland UK may only order and pay using a credit / debit card via our telephone ordering service.

There is no limit to the number of items that may be ordered via our telephone ordering service, but please be aware that the shipping costs will be added per item. Orders for more than one item may be shipped individually or collectively entirely at our discretion. If you would like to purchase more than one item we will discuss your specific requirements and options for shipping when you call us.

Shipment to all addresses outside mainland UK will be by ** Royal Mail 'Airsure' service where this service is available to your address, and will include adequate insurance in the event of loss or damage in transit (up to a maximum of 500.00 per order / shipment - i.e. not per item). This service will also include 'on-line tracking' of your parcel up to the point of delivery. If you would like to track your parcel simply send us an email requesting the details and we will be pleased to email them back to you. In the event that the 'Airsure' service is not available to your address, shipment will be made by ** Royal Mail 'International Signed For' (ISF) service, which will include adequate insurance in the event of loss or damage in transit (up to a maximum of 500.00 per order / shipment - i.e. not per item).

Shipments to Europe (EU) will be charged at 19.99 (Incl VAT) per item. Delivery should take approximately 2 - 5 working days, but please allow 7 working days before contacting us. You should be asked to sign for your parcel upon receipt.

Shipments to the Rest of the World will be charged at 29.99 per item. Delivery should take approximately 4 - 7 working days, but please allow 10 working days before contacting us. You should be asked to sign for your parcel upon receipt.

4. If Your Item Has Not Arrived

We send everything by Royal Mail. To assist us, UK Customers should notify us immediately if their parcel hasn't arrived by 5.00 pm on the day after shipment from us. For overseas customers please allow 10 days (EU) or 12 days (RoW) from receipt of your payment (the date your account has been debited) before contacting us to chase your package.


5. Returns Policy

We want you to be really pleased with your purchase, but if for any reason you are not satisfied with the items you have received from us simply return them within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or a full refund (minus the delivery charge and a 10% 're-stocking' charge).
