Shipping Policy

(IMPORTANT - Please ensure you read this carefully BEFORE placing your order)


1. Shipment

For all orders received via our website before 1.30pm each working day (i.e. Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays) it is our policy to ship the same day. If this is not possible for any reason we will try to contact you directly to explain why. Orders received via our website after 1.30pm but before 4.00pm we will endeavour to ship the same day but you will not be contacted if this is not achieved. In this case, and for all orders received via our website at any other times we will ship on the next working day (as above).

For all orders received other than via our website we aim to ship within 3 working days (72 hours) of receipt of cleared funds. If we are unable to do so we will contact you directly. Wholesale customers should also refer to section 3d below.

We ship every working day. Please allow for seasonal variations for shipping, if you need goods for a specific date - please contact us to ensure that this is possible.


2. Packaging

Goods are shipped protected in bubble wrap and / or shredded paper and / or tissue paper - inside a sealed, sturdy cardboard shipping box or, for smaller or lighter items inside a post safe extra strong mailing bag - if you require any additional packaging or for any special shipping requirements please contact us directly.


3 P&P Services and Charges

3a - Customers in the UK –

Customers in the UK may order up to a maximum of 5 bags via the website in one transaction. To order more than five bags in any single transaction please contact us directly to discuss in detail your specific requirements, and / or visit our wholesale page for more details as appropriate.

Our 'Standard UK' P & P service is free. Shipment will be by Royal Mail 'First Class Recorded (Signed For) Small Packets' service* (usually 'next day delivery' but this is not guaranteed), and is subject to maximum compensation of £39.00 per order / shipment - not per item - in the event of loss or damage in transit.

You have the option of selecting our 'Enhanced UK P&P' option at the time of ordering (by 'drop down box' menu at the checkout) at a cost of £5.95 per bag. This will upgrade the postage to Royal Mail 'Special (Next Day Guaranteed) Delivery'* service (from the day of shipment) which will also include full compensation in the event of loss or damage in transit.

If you are unable to take delivery of the package - it will be returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office and held for 7 days. If you have not arranged re-delivery or collection after 7 days the package will be returned to us. If this happens we will request that you re-send us the postage costs in order that we may resend - otherwise this will be regarded as a returned item and the purchase price will be refunded minus shipping costs (where applicable) and the 're-stocking fee'.

3b - Customers in Europe

Customers in Europe may order up to a maximum of 5 bags via the website in one transaction. To order more than five bags in any single transaction please contact us directly to discuss in detail your specific requirements, and / or visit our wholesale page for more details as appropriate.

Shipment to customers in Europe will be by Royal Mail 'International Signed For' service and will be charged at £14.95 per bag at the time you place your order. This will include full compensation in the event of loss or damage in transit (up to a
maximum of £500.00 per order / shipment - not per item). It will take approximately 3 - 4 working days for delivery.

Please note that customers from Europe may only order and pay using a credit card or debit card via our website.


3c. Customers in USA, Canada & the Rest of the World

Customers in the USA / Canada and the Rest of the World may order up to a maximum of 5 bags via the website in one transaction. To order more than five bags in any single transaction please contact us directly to discuss in detail your specific requirements, and / or visit our wholesale page for more details as appropriate.

Shipment to customers in the USA / Canada and the Rest of the World will be by Royal Mail 'International Signed For' service and will be charged at £19.95 per bag at the time you place your order. This will include full compensation in the event of loss or damage in transit (up to a maximum of £500.00 per order / shipment - not per item). It will take approximately 5 - 6 working days for the package to reach the United States / Canada, other destinations may take a day or two longer.

Please note that customers from the United States, Canada and the Rest of the World may only order and pay using a credit card or debit card via our website.

Our P&P charges are based on the rates currently quoted by Royal Mail / Parcel Force 'as at today's date', and are subject to change without notice to keep them in line with any changes made by Royal Mail / Parcel Force at any time.

3d. Wholesale Customers

All shipping costs for wholesale orders will be met by the customer. Shipping costs will be determined upon processing your order, and will include all charges for carriage, packing, insurance and confirmation services.

Our policy is to ship wholesale orders by Parcelforce 48 service for all UK customers, and by Parcelforce International Standard service for all overseas customers. However, wholesale customers may request shipment by an alternative service provided that this is made clear at the time the order is placed.

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the weight of the package. Shipping charges will be listed separately on your invoice.

4. If Your Item Has Not Arrived

We send everything by either Royal Mail or Parcel Force. To assist us please allow 5 days (for UK mainland) or 10 days (all other addresses) from receipt of your payment (the date your account has been debited) before contacting us to chase your package.


5. Returns Policy

We want you to be really pleased with your purchase, but if for any reason you are not satisfied with the items you have received from us simply return them within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or a full refund (minus the delivery charge and a 10% 're-stocking' charge).
